Today I learned the existence of the C36. I thought they started with the C43

Quite rare in that color, most of these were silver. Not appreciating yet (if ever), but an obscure car at its depreciation floor.
Being in QC, I’d look closely for rust, 202s can get dodgy. Being lowered might not bode well either, MB diehards don’t really do this much to their cars.

Early 202s fold like paper in a crash, late W202 rust like no ones business.
No matter what you do itll always be in the B tier of mercedes from that era.
Being said i almost dropped 2000 us on a rough C36 to nab the motor and computer.
6000 US seems to be the starting point for good ones, the pristine ones are touching 10k

Have these started appreciating? Not too long ago you could pick decent ones up for under 5k easily. And rats for under 2k. CP.
